Institute of Ophthalmic Training

a) Diploma Course in Optometry with approval from State Medical Faculty of W.B. at students per year from 2003 and another 10 trainees at NNN, (Extn.) CND per year from 2015 at the unit campus.

b) Diploma Course in Ophthalmic Clinical Assistance (Nursing in Ophthalmology) with amation Vidyasagar University, Midnapur for 15-girls students per year from 2003 at NNN,CTN. It is for the time such a course is being offered for training in the country

c) 2-month Short-term MSICS (Manual Small Incision Cataract Surgery) Training Course for the Ophthalmologists is run under “Seeing is Believing' project under Standard & Chartered Bank supported by Sight Savers International. It attracts Ophthalmologists from different States of our Country and many other Countries of the World.
